The moment when everyone arrives, looks for familiar faces and finds them, glass in hand. Poseur tables, bar, extra seating, lighting: we help you choose the pieces that keep your guests moving, deliver them to your venue and come back to collect them once the party is over.

Whether it brings together twenty close friends in a garden or four hundred guests on the terrace of a country estate, a drinks reception follows the same rule: everyone should be able to put their glass down, reach the bar without fighting through the crowd and sit for a few minutes if they wish. That is our starting point when we help you choose the pieces and the quantities.
Somewhere to lean
The poseur table is the centrepiece of any drinks reception: it is around it that conversations take shape. Better to have a few too many than too few, and to group them in small clusters rather than lining them up.
Poseur tables, tall pedestal tables, console tables, side tables.

Wherever you place it, the bar draws everyone in. It sets the tone of the décor and shapes how guests move: by the entrance to welcome them, at the far end to draw them into the space, or doubled up as soon as numbers grow.
Bars and counters, serving trolleys, display consoles.

Not everyone can stand for an hour, and it is not always who you might expect. A few bar stools around the poseur tables, a bench in the shade, a couple of armchairs set slightly apart: somewhere to pause without leaving the party.
Bar stools, benches, armchairs, small lounge sets.

It is often during the drinks reception that guests look for their name on the seating plan, leave a message in the guest book and photograph the welcome sign. These small pieces shape the space far more than you might think.
Easels, boards and display stands, welcome consoles, signage holders.

A drinks reception that begins in the sunshine sometimes ends after nightfall. Lanterns on the ground, hurricane lamps on the poseur tables, festoon lights above the bar: lighting should be planned from the outset, not when the light starts to fade.
Lanterns, hurricane lamps, candle holders, festoon lights, pendant lights.
